Chris McCarrell

Chris McCarrell (born January 9, 1991) is an American theatre and television actor. He is best known for portraying Marius Pontmercy in the Broadway revival of ''Les Misérables.''
== Early Life and Education ==
McCarrell grew up in Cleveland, Ohio.
Shortly before his freshman year of high school, McCarrell attended a party for the retiring headmaster of the school, where alumni of the school that were actors came and performed for him. One of the performers was in the original Broadway cast of ''Wicked,'' and McCarrell spent his drive home listening for the performer on the cast recording. He then paused it and told his parents he wanted to be a Musical Theatre Major, and he cites that as the night he knew wanted to act.
After high school, McCarrell attended Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music where he performed in many university shows including: ''Pippin'' (Lewis), ''Sweeney Todd'' (Anthony), and ''Next to Normal'' (Gabe Goodman). He graduated in 2013.
